TUTIMA Celebrates 80 years of Glashutte tradition with a special chtonograph series to mark the anniversary

The “Grand Classic” series will further include models with different functions, dial layout and colors. The Grand Classic UTC, ref. 781-04, comes with a self-winding Valjoux 7754 movement. The Grand Classic Chronograph, ref. 781-05, is available with extra-large 12 hour and 30-minute displays and operates on a Valjoux 7750 automatic movement.

In celebration of the brand’s 80th anniversary, Tutima is introducing a special collection of new chronographs based on the style of its Classic line. The highlight of this new collection is its limited edition of 800 pieces. The Grand Classic Havana Limited Edition, ref. 781-01, features a second time zone display (UTC) and comes with a Bordeaux-colored dial and gold tone logo. Each timepiece will

be individually numbered on the side of the case and will be presented with a matching certificate.

All models in the new Grand Classic collection will bear the traditional coin-edge bezel, red marker and pilot hands from the Classic Flieger Chronograph. Additionally, this new collection will feature a large Tutima “t 1927’” logo etched on the exhibition crystal back and special anniversary engraving on the case back. Further technical features include: a 43mm stainless steel case, convex sapphire crystals, water resistant to 100 meters and screw-down crown and case backs.

Valeo Model

Valeo comes from Latin and means to be strong or influential – which aptly sums up the new “Valeo Reserve” by Tutima.

The design concentrates on essentials: this is evident from the simply structured dial with clear time display, big date which moves on after “31” and – for additional safety – power reserve display. A modified self-winding ETA 2892 A2 movement ensures that this new Tutima model is reliable.

The technical perfection is enhanced by the overall elegance of the finely satinized case in solid 18 karat rose gold or optionally in stainless steel. It comes with a convex sapphire crystal and sapphire crystal case back which reveals the intricately decorated movement. The case is tested for pressure and water resistance up to 10 bar. Diameter: 38.5 mm, height 11 mm.

The model is available with a silver, blue or anthracite dial, each with raised numerals. The “Valeo Reserve” comes with a Louisiana alligator strap in a choice of dark brown, blue, anthracite or black, and a folding clasp in 18 kt rose gold or stainless steel. The stainless steel version is optionally available with a stainless steel bracelet.
